Twelve

The shin was feeling pain-free for the third straight morning so I took a big deep breath and went out running on it, all the while wondering if by doing so I'd just re-injure it and set things further back. It worked! I didn't die! My shin didn't collapse! I made it twelve miles without any unusual aches or pains. I truly hope the shin doesn't return to its antics after I've recovered for a few hours.

Twelve miles isn't what I'd like to do at this stage of training but it's a damn sight better than zero.

I'm very glad to be running again.
