England, Where Shame Still Exists

An enterprising English huckster has been performing fake exorcisms for cash:

During the events, which regularly attracted crowds of over 400 people, a number of associates would "pretend to be possessed by demons" and Fr Bazzoffi would allegedly exorcise them using ancient and obscure rites.

He would then offer to "heal" members of the audience who were sick, and solicit donations to his organisation.
To be clear, what distinguishes a real exorcism from a fake one is the admission of the participants. Here in the USA, so long as the money keeps pouring in, nobody admits to the fraud. Religious hucksters in England still seem to have some shame -- how quaint!
