Speaking of the Predictable ...

The theory of evolution, being a valid scientific theory, makes testable predictions, one example of which is the existence of legged snakes in the fossil record.

Lo and behold!

It would have looked something like the creature depicted here -- it looks very much like a snake but with teensy, useless legs: "The 85cm-long (33in) creature, known as Eupodophis descouensi, comes from the Late Cretaceous, about 92 million years ago."

Or maybe the Intelligent Designer planted that fossil as a way of tempting people to doubt Jesus/Allah/Buddha and embrace a godless, icky, terrible, horrible, no good, very bad scientific outlook.

Maybe. And maybe they'll eventually find "fossil rabbits in the Precambrian era." Maybe is easy.
